Our Trip around Selangor

By Dylan Matthew Quah :)

HELLO EVERYONE :)

Our COOP decided to take a LRT from Glenmarie, Shah Alam to Kuala Lumpur ( I forgot which day and date...... hehehehe ) so we could see Malaysia's historical places and also use the new MRT. We took the LRT to go to Pasar Seni to have our breakfast. A few of us ordered chicken rice, while others preferred Beef Noodle Soup or Char Kuey Teow.

After that we walked back to Pasar Seni Station and took the new MRT Sungai Buloh Kanjang Line ( MRT SBK-Line ) to Merdeka Station. The speed of the new MRT was extremely fast and we reached Merdeka Station in like 10 seconds! The station and the MRT was very clean too!

Once out of the station, we went to Stadium Negara, one of the oldest stadiums in all of Malaysia. It is being guarded by one security guard, and when we walked inside, we saw the vast space inside it and all the seats inside the stadium.

Outside the stadium!

Leaving the stadium, we had our lunch, and then we slowly walked back to Pasar Seni. On the way back to the MRT station we ordered some refreshing drinks. At the station, we took the LRT back to Glenmarie. The air in the LRT was refreshing to all of us as we felt hot when we were walking in the sun. We also played "chor dai di" as the LRT took us back to Glenmarie. Once back at Glenmarie station, we got in our car and Aunty Martha drove us all back to her house. There we waited for awhile until our parents came back to fetch us and bring us home.

LUNCH!

ONCE UPON THE MILLIPEDE

On the last day of our coop retreat at Methodist Bungalow, Fraser Hill  , Joelle and I were walking in the morning while the rest of the gang were eating breakfast outside. Joelle and I spotted a snail in its shell and Joelle wanted the snail to come out of its shell. So I turned on a nearby water tap and put the snail gently on the puddle. Then Joelle said the snail needs to eat something, so we went to the garden at the bungalow and started searching for something to let the snail eats. But on the grass, I found instead, a giant millipede!!! I called Joelle and she was amazed too. I touched the giant monster's back and it felt like shining smooth armor. It started to crawl towards the drain, but Joelle and I did not want it to go away!

So I got stuff like stones, sticks, bricks and rotten leaves to block but the millipede was so flexible and fast that it passed through my blockage! Joelle  shouted "AAAHH...!! The millipede is going to the drain!" So I rushed to my Dad and called him to catch the giant millipede. He caught the millipede on a stick and gave it to me. Joelle and I ran to the others to show it to them. Everyone wanted to take photos and videos of it ! Even Uncle Wai Hong posed for a photo acting as though he wanted to eat the millipede! He was so hilarious.

     FRASER'S HILL RETREAT!!

After the winding long journey up the hill, we had finally arrived! We first had a quick breakfast at the tea house, then we drove to the town square. When we met our coop buddies there was a round of: "HI!"S And "I haven't seen you in such a long time!" We sat talking and enjoying the flowers and cold air at the town square.

After catching up, we headed to Methodist bungalow to check-in. We unpacked clothes and placed our belongings on the dressers.(All the younger kids dibbed the top bunk and the older kids had to sleep at the bottom. Poor them! NOT! Hehehe!)We threw open the windows that overlooked the garden and sang silly songs like:LET IT GO!⛄,For the first time in forever!πŸ‘§ and When will my life begin! Then we decide to go for pine trail!🌲(Only half, since the full thing is, like 6 hours!⌚)

The food took like forever to come, but when it finally arrived, it vanished in 5 seconds. Ian proclaimed it Lo Shang. But when the dishes were all empty,we ordered yet another plate of meatπŸ— and that disappeared as well in 3 seconds with Ian staring at an empty plate and his stomach still growling. He hereby declared us savages...🐺

(For those who've been to Frasers hill before, The restaurant and playground and mini mart and roti canai shop and gift shop and food court are in the same place.) 🎒🎑🎠πŸͺ🏬🏀

Before we headed back to the bungalow we bought junk food and in the bungalow played Twister and Pictionary. Dylan, Ian and Uncle Deric were deep in a game of serious Cho Tai Tee.♠♡♢♣ Then we K.O. and hit the hay.

2ND DAY

After we had breakfast in the room, we did some jumping jacks and stretches outside and drove to meet Mr Durai, our bird watching guide. He gave each of us a binoculars and we walked while he talked and he showed us the home of a trap door spider.

We arrived at Hemmant tail and he showed us some plants and some historical brick structures and told us the history of Frasers hill and where the Japanese kept their weapons and money. As we came out of the trail we saw a Thrush and Pygmy wren.

So we all piled into Uncle Deric's car and discussed about buying the same clothes. 😁

Then we went back to Methodist Bungalow for lunch.

Then we discussed the Father's Day presentation and took a bunch of fun selfies.
                                                                    Planning Father's day skit

Then we went to the Smoke House. The platter is cut throat RM 48 for four pieces of cake,🍰 two scones and some tea.🍡 The three AIM clubbers gobbled their fill and left the older ones to scavenge for crumbs. Then we ran outside and played by the swings and had stick wars while Darryl piled tonnes of sugar in his tea.🍯
We also recorded some silly singing.

Then we went back to the bungalow and had about 12 rounds of Cho Tai Tee.

At about 830pm, we went for dinner and had chicken and lamb chops.πŸ—πŸŸ

Danelle played Ninja with Jodie and Darryl . Finally all of us played Zombie and Fire, Mama Hen and EagleπŸ”, Ice and Fire,πŸ”₯⛄ Linking chains.

Then drenched in sweat we rode back to Methodist Bungalow again.  We played Pictionary✏ and when it was time for midnight feast, we all stared at the feast not daring to eat for fear that the caretaker would catch us. So we put the food back and stayed up to 2:30 am playing Cho Tai Tee followed by a game of Truth. which lasted until 3:30 AM!!! Then LIGHTS OUT!πŸ’‘

3RD DAY

We started of the morning with worship and a short message from Uncle Wai Hong.
Then we performed our chin chai, 5- min preparation, skit for fathers day. An extremely dramatic tear- bringing soap opera.

SCRIPT:

daughter: Help me get my clothes daddy!

Dad: yes dear.

daughter: I want an Iphone 8 daddy!

Dad: Here you go.

daughter: I want your credit card to purchase something daddy!

Dad: No.

daughter: (shocked) Daddy don't love me! I hate you!!!!!!! 😭😠

daughter runs away into the streets. Suddenly.....

Gang approaches her and surrounds her.

daughter: AHHH!!! Help me!!

The gang punches and kicks her and drags her away.

Dad: STOP!!

Dad karate kicks them all away and rescues daughter.

Daughter: Why did you rescue me!?!? I can save myself!! HUMPH!! (Strides away to a nearby cliff)

Dad: Don't go there! It's dangerous! It could crumble any minute!

Daughter: SO?!? I DON'T CARE!! I HATE YOU!! I WANT TO GET AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM YOU!! EVEN IF IT MEANS GOING TO HELL!!! YOU RUINED MY LIFE!!!!!!

(Suddenly the cliff crumbles and she screams. The dad rushes forward and quickly flings her on land, sacrificing himself.)

The cloud of dust and falling rocks clears, to reveal a deep chasm with mangled body lying at the bottom covered in rocks.

Daughter sits up stunned. She quickly scrambles to the edge and peers down.

Daughter: NOO!!! What have i done? WHAT HAVE I DONE!! Come back daddy, PLEASE! I...I need you! (Trembles and slides to the ground sobbing)

Daughter: Lord, I've been mean and selfish and heartless. I never cared for anybody but myself. But now that he's gone, i realize how much i love him. Please bring him back. In Jesus name i pray, Amen. (Breaks down sobbing)

Dad: Child, Why are you crying?

Daughter gasps. She flings her arms around him.

Daughter: You came back!

Dad: I never left, and i would never leave you intentionally, my child.

Both bow and exit.
THE END.

After that, we went for lunch and decide to go boat paddling.
then, it was time to go home. But the kids didn't want to part YET. So we played one last round of Cho Tai Tee by the roadside.
